Tiffany Stratton Responds To Criticism Of Her SummerSlam Match With Jade Cargill

Tiffany Stratton responds to the criticisms of her match with Jade Cargill earlier this month at WWE SummerSlam.

WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton was a recent guest on The Babyfaces Podcast. When asked about the fan criticism of her match with Jade Cargill at SummerSlam, Stratton believes the match didn’t need to be more than seven minutes because it wasn’t like her and Cargill were in some kind of blood feud.

“I feel like we didn’t have this like insane life or death story going into SummerSlam, so I didn’t really feel like we needed — like you said — an insane 40-minute long match,” Tiffany Stratton said. “I thought it was a very competitive match, it was very fast. And I think that’s all we really needed. So I’m actually really pleased with how my match went at SummerSlam with Jade Cargill.”

Even though it wasn’t a long match, Stratton would go on to admit she was nervous heading into SummerSlam as it was her first time competing at that event.

“Going into SummerSlam, I was so nervous. It was my first SummerSlam ever,” Tiffany Stratton said. “So that alone was just so nerve-wracking. But, thankfully, I pulled through and I beat Little Miss Jade Cargill.” [H/T: F4WOnline]
