Becky Lynch learned a great deal from WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes during her time in NXT.
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch was a recent guest on What Do You Wanna Talk About? with Cody Rhodes. While discussing Cody’s father, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes, Lynch revealed the last thing Dusty ever said to her.
“I was following him around, I was annoying the sh*t out of him,” Becky Lynch recalled. “I was giving him this idea, I was like, ‘I got this pitch, Dusty.’ And goes, ‘Shut up, Becky.’ And I couldn’t ask for better words. It was perfect. He was sick of my sh*t.” [H/T: WrestlePurists]
While Lynch doesn’t currently have a match booked for Clash in Paris, it appears that a future match between her and Nikki Bella for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship is inevitable. If it doesn’t take place on that premium live event, it will take place on RAW soon.
