WWE SmackDown saw another decrease in viewership on August 22.
According to Wrestlenomics, SmackDown averaged 1.258 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.35 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode, when an average of 1.430 million viewers tuned in. The demo stayed even from last week’s show (0.35 rating in the same demographic).

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?
This week’s show kicked off with an in-ring promo from Becky Lynch, who heeled on the crowd. She was interrupted by Tiffany Stratton, which brought out Nia Jax and Jade Cargill, setting up the main event.
Melo Don’t Miz defeated the Motor City Machine Guns in tag team action.
Elsewhere on the show, Piper Niven defeated Charlotte Flair thanks to assistance from Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre.
In the main event of the evening, Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill defeated Becky Lynch and Nia Jax.
