It would appear that KnokX Pro is no longer a WWE ID program.
In October 2024, WWE announced its plans for WWE ID, a new developmental program designed to help up-and-coming indie wrestlers get a more direct path to WWE. The first schools and wrestling promotions announced as being part of the program included Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling, Cody Rhodes’ Nightmare Factory, and KnokX Pro Academy, which is run by Rikishi.
KnokX Pro hosted an event this weekend that featured a now-infamous event involving Raja Jackson, the son of UFC legend Quintin “Rampage” Jackson. According to on-site reports and fan video confirmation, Jackson went off-script and injured a wrestler named Syko Stu, who was already knocked out and lying unconscious in the ring.
Many fans who saw footage of the incident called for KnokX to lose its WWE ID affiliation for allowing the incident to take place. It would appear that KnokX is no longer a WWE ID program, as the school removed all references to the program from its social media accounts on Monday.
According to PWInsider.com, WWE has not responded to a request for comment on the situation. However, the timing would lead to speculation that WWE has severed ties with KnokX due to the Raja Jackson incident.
KnokX issued the following statement on the incident:
“First and foremost our thoughts and prayers are with our brother Mr. Stuart Smith (Syko Stu) as he remains a priority and we are monitoring his well being,” a representative of KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy wrote in a statement. “What was supposed to be a planned and agreed upon wrestling spot turned into a selfish, irresponsible act of violence against Mr. Smith.”
Rampage Jackson also commented on his son’s role in the incident, writing that he’s concerned for both men’s well-being, but does not condone his son’s actions at all.
Update: WWE has removed KnokX from the list of affiliated schools on the WWE ID website.
