AEW star Queen Aminata is stuck in the United Kingdom after they had some important items stolen from them.
AEW Forbidden Door took place at the O2 Arena in London. The show featured Aminata on both the Zero Hour pre-show and the main event card. She teamed with Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, and Harley Cameron against Thekla, Julia Hart, Skye Blue, and Megan Bayne.
During the match, Aminata and Thekla brawled at ringside and eventually fought their way backstage. The chaos didn’t end there. later on the main show, she and Thekla brawled in front of the fans. This led to Jamie Hayter making her return to a huge ovation from her home country fans and saving Aminata.
Following AEW Forbidden Door, Queen Aminata, who got a helping hand from Jamie Hayter, revealed that she is stuck in the United Kingdom. She explained on her Instagram Stories that her backpack was stolen.
She said, “Good afternoon in the United Kingdom. I was supposed to fly home today but unfortunately on Saturday my backpack got stolen. With everything my debit card, my credit card, my driver’s license, my US passport, my glasses, my medication, my charger like everything is gone.”
Because of the incident, she said she will have to remain in the UK a few more day, “So, I am stuck here until Thursday, possibly a little bit longer. And Yeah, I guess the UK loves the Queen so much that you guys didn’t want me to go home early. I’m laughing about it right now but honestly, I just wanted to be home.”
