On last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, the WWE Women’s World Champion Naomi announced that she was pregnant. As a result, she was forced to relinquish her championship. Prior to this announcement, Naomi was scheduled to defend her championship against former NXT Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer at the Clash in Paris Premium Live Event. But now the situation has gotten a lot more complicated. Former NXT Women’s World Champion Roxanne Perez recently tried to provide a solution to the problem.
On this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Stephanie Vaquer was told by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce that she is the number one contender for the Women’s World title, but will not be getting her title match at Clash in Paris.
Following the show, on the Raw Recap episode, Roxanne Perez was a special guest. The Prodigy shared that she believes a member of The Judgment Day should be granted the opportunity to compete against Stephanie Vaquer. Perez claims, considering the Judgment Day’s track record, they deserve to compete for the top prize in the women’s division.
“I think anyone in the Judgment Day should be in that match with Stephanie because I think the only people that deserve any championships for that matter is the Judgment Day. So yeah, throw me in. Throw Raquel in. As long as it’s the Judgment Day, that’s all that matters,” Roxanne Perez said. [H/T Fightful.com]
The Prodigy wrestled the Eradicator Rhea Ripley on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Despite putting up a tough fight, Perez lost the match. After the match Rodriguez and Perez began to attack Ripley. IYO SKY rushed in to save the former WWE Women’s World Champion.
