We now have a lot more information regarding Vince McMahon‘s 80th birthday party that took place earlier this month.
In recent days, we’ve seen pictures coming out of Vince McMahon’s 80th birthday party. These photos revealed that multiple WWE Superstars attended the festivities.
But now we have a lot more details on the party itself and who did and didn’t attend the event.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), WWE talent that he spoke to weren’t surprised to learn how many WWE names were present at the party. They provided Sapp with the following quote as to why:
“A lot of people here still feel like they owe Vince something, even though he made his money back on them tenfold.”
One talent who didn’t attend the party speculates that many people don’t want to sever ties with McMahon until the court situation with Janel Grant plays out.
Vince McMahon’s party was supposed to remain private
The party itself was supposed to be kept very private, but obviously that didn’t work out. A professional photographer was at the event to take pictures to help minimize potential exposure of the event. However, that didn’t work out either.
WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler posted one of those photos from the party to his Instagram Stories, but later deleted it after a number of people asked him to.
Sapp has been told that there were other WWE Superstars who attended the event, that are still unknown. There are also multiple WWE Superstars who were invited but declined to attend.
As far as Vince McMahon himself, one person who attended the event told Sapp that McMahon “looked 80” and seemed “more frail, walked slower, and looked his age.”
Confirmed names who were not in attendance include Triple H, Nick Khan, Stephanie McMahon, and All Elite Wrestling’s Bryan Danielson.
