Lex Luger Shares A Very Positive Health Update

WWE legend Lex Luger walks by himself in a new video.

The DDP Yoga account posted a video on, X formerly known as Twitter, showing Lex Luger walking on his own for the first time in years. In the clip, he moves around a kitchen island while trainer, Autumn Swansen, watches closely. As he takes his steps, Swansen is seen encouraging him saying, “Lex, you’re literally walking unsupported right now.”

Along with the video, the DDP Yoga account also encouraged fans to follow Autumn Swansen, who has been working with Luger during his recovery. They also credited a device called MyLifeGlider, which helps people with limited mobility use a walker.

Fans know that Lex Luger has been facing serious health issues, which began in 2007 when he suffered a spinal cord injury. The injury also combined with the wear and tear from years of wrestling, which forced him to use a wheelchair for several years.

With help from WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page, Luger has worked hard on his recovery. Earlier this year, in February, a video showed him training with DDP to improve his mobility and rebuild his strength.

Now, this new video shows even more progress, as Luger can walk on his own. He has often said that his dream is to walk across the stage when he’s inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. With each step, it looks like he is slowly but surely moving closer to making that dream come true.
