Kenny Omega Responds To Report That He’s Working In ‘Very Serious Pain’

How is Kenny Omega feeling heading into next week’s All Star 8-Man Tag match on AEW Dynamite?

On Sunday, Kenny Omega returned to the ring at AEW Forbidden Door for the first time since his match with Kazuchika Okada at All In: Texas.

Omega followed that up with a surprise appearance on Wednesday night on Dynamite and was announced for a huge tag match on next week’s show. With Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland both sidelined with injuries, Omega’s presence on AEW programming is extremely important right now.

In an update from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ospreay will be out for a long time, Strickland will be out for some time, and Omega is battling “very serious pain.”

Meltzer’s words caused a lot of concern online. So much so that Omega himself responded to the report, likely in an effort to settle things down.

Kenny Omega took to social media to respond to the report, tweeting out:

“Everybody is in some way, right? Let’s not worry about me, we got work to do next week! I’ll be fine *flex emoji,*” Kenny Omega said in a post.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more on Kenny Omega’s status as it becomes available.
