Jack Swagger being paired with a bald eagle mascot called the Swagger Soaring Eagle was probably the most entertaining run of Jack’s WWE run.
Former WWE Superstar Jack Swagger was a recent guest on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet. When asked about the longstanding rumor that Chavo Guerrero portrayed Swagger’s bald eagle mascot, Swagger confirmed he was the eagle most of the time, even though he wasn’t happy about doing it.
“Number one in your heart, number one in your program, Chavo Guerrero. He did it for most of it, and he did the best,” Jack Swagger said. “It was amazing. He was not happy doing it, but he was amazing. I think it was just one of those timing issues where we needed someone with experience.
“Obviously, he played to the crowd so well with everything, and he didn’t have something going on at the time. Also, [I was] a young guy pair me with an older guy, so I can learn and get a little wisdom from it. Chavo, thank you. You will always be my soaring eagle.”
