Ronda Rousey Blasted by WWE Personality Over Alexa Bliss Remarks

Peter Rosenberg criticized Ronda Rousey for her recent comments about Alexa Bliss.

Rousey recently she admitted she wasn’t happy facing Alexa Bliss in 2018. She said that feud happened only happened because Bliss sold merchandise. Her remarks drew backlash, with AEW star MJF calling her out. Bliss didn’t mention Rousey directly but responded with a short message saying she loves the business.

On his podcast Cheap Heat, Rosenberg strongly pushed back against Rousey. He said that her attitude showed disrespect toward Alexa Bliss and the women who work hard in WWE. “For her to sort of, not sort of, blatantly criticize the fact that she worked with Alexa Bliss as if Bliss was somehow beneath her was yet another example of Ronda Rousey needing to pry her foot out of her mouth.”

He pointed out that WWE gave Rousey fame and money, yet she continues to belittle the business. “Can you just have a little class and not bury the people who work in the business day in and day out? This is a business that gave you a lot of money, a lot of fame, and you did quite well doing it.”

“You’re not like Randy Orton or Batista, who, by the way, would never badmouth the business. Criticize UFC fighters no problem. You were an all-time great in MMA. You’re not an all-time great in wrestling. You’re not.”

Rosenberg pointed out that Bliss has dedicated her time and body to WWE, and Rousey had no right to dismiss or disrespect her. “It is incredibly disrespectful for [Ronda] to decide your time was up and now you want to talk trash about the people who did it. Even if you were good enough to do it, you shouldn’t do it. And you weren’t good enough to do it.” [H/T: pwmania]
