NXT is hitting the road again next month.
On Monday, WWE announced three new dates for NXT live events that will take place in October. The three events include stops in Columbus and Cleveland (Ohio), which bookend a stop in Detroit. The dates are as follows:
| Thursday, October 9 | Columbus, Ohio | KEMBA Live! |
| Friday, October 10 | Detroit, Michigan | The Masonic Temple |
| Saturday, October 11 | Cleveland, Ohio | The Agora Theatre |
NXT continues to expand its live event reach outside of Florida
The three events will mark NXT’s first time in Columbus, Detroit and Cleveland in more than five years. Columbus and Cleveland last hosted NXT live events on March 5 and 6, 2020. Detroit has not hosted an NXT show since 2010, when the brand was still designated as a reality/competition series. Detroit’s last NXT taping took place on September 14, 2010, and it featured AJ Lee and Primo teaming against Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn.
NXT regularly does live event tours around Florida. However, this is the first (non-televised) live event for the brand outside of Florida since a July event in Houston. NXT will also went on the road for two events in South Carolina this past weekend.
NXT talent like Oba Femi, Sol Ruca and Tony D’Angelo are advertised for the Cleveland event. It’s also worth noting that The Agora Theatre is also advertising “special appearances by Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Superstars.” WWE did not mention those brands in the announcement. However, the following names were included, in addition to the aforementioned talent: NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, NXT North American Champion Ethan Page, TNA Champion Trick Williams.
Tickets for all three events will go on sale beginning on Wednesday, September 10 at 10am ET/7am PT. A special presale will begin on Tuesday, September 9 at 10am ET/7am PT.
