Booker T has been known to stir up controversy over some of his opinions about the wrestling business. This time, fans went nuts over something he didn’t say.
Tuesday night’s episode of NXT was loaded with memorable segments and appearances from WWE main roster talent.
RAW’s Stephanie Vaquer and Rhea Ripley were on hand, as well as SmackDown’s Carmelo Hayes. WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton joined Vaquer and Ripley for a segment involving Fatal Influence’s Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyx and Fallon Henley. During the commotion, Booker T shared his excitement by proclaiming he had to “pop his neck, man!”
His comment seemed fairly clear; however, many fans thought they heard him say something a little more explicit in nature.

Booker T didn’t say what many think they heard, but it still caused quite a stir on social media.
“Captions are definitely needed for this one! ?,” @evelynnmimijae wrote on Twitter/X.
“Didn’t know neck started with D ??,” added @lenoj51_.
Plenty of people corrected those who thought they heard something else, noting that Booker T clearly said neck. Some of the responses were humorous, using GIFs to highlight that a tape rewind was needed for this situation:
