Andrade isn’t backing down from MJF and has challenged him to a huge stipulation match in Mexico.
On Saturday afternoon, we got the surprising news that Andrade was gone from WWE. While we have since learned plenty of details surrounding his release, the best thing to come out of the situation is a potential future match between El Idolo and MJF in Mexico for CMLL.
To understand how we got here, we must go back to Saturday, when Friedman sent the following message to El Idolo on social media after news of his WWE departure became public, tweeting out:
“Ay yo @AndradeElIdolo
Ima be in Mexico beating the ever loving shit out of Mistico @CMLL_OFICIAL infront of all your broke ass country men.
Lmk if you wanna grab a marg before I hope on my jet to Toronto to whoop mark briscoes hillbilly ass,” MJF said in a post.
Andrade replied on Monday, clearly not looking to be chummy with the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Champion, tweeting back:
“*Middle finger emoji* @The_MJF *Arrow Soon emoji* #VivaMexico CABRO….,” Andrade said in response.
MJF was quick to respond, tweeting back with:
“Oh it’s like that? Okay, Perro,” MJF said in a post.
Mask vs. Hair!?
This response clearly fired Andrade up, who proposed a mask vs. hair match in Mexico against MJF, presumably in CMLL, tweeting back this afternoon with:
“IN MEXICO! It’s MASK VS HAIR @The_MJF pussy!!” Andrade fired back.
As of this writing, MJF hasn’t responded to this challenge.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
