A couple of weeks ago, WWE conducted it’s first major Premium Live Event in Paris, Clash in Paris. One of the scheduled major title matches for the night was the Women’s World Title match between Naomi and the Dark Angel Stephanie Vaquer. But the match was scrapped as Naomi was forced to vacate her title as she became pregnant.
Recently, Stephanie Vaquer was a special guest on Chris Van Vliet’s Insight podcast. During the episode, the former NXT Women’s World Champion shared that she is sad that the match did not take place. But at the same time, she is happy for Naomi. The Dark Angel also shared that on the brighter side of things, she got more time to train for her next Women’s World Title match.
“Yeah, everything changed about that. So I’m sad for the match, I’m so happy for Naomi. But everything I think is better because I have more time for training, focused on the next match with IYO. Amazing. She’s amazing. So versus IYO and ESPN, big show with WWE Wrestlepalooza. So it’s like, amazing. It’s really, really amazing. Sometimes everything changes for one reason as my birthday, my dad’s birthday, and he come for first time, watch my match live. So everything is perfect,” Stephanie Vaquer said.
Stephanie Vaquer will be facing former WWE Women’s World Champion IYO SKY at Wrestlepalooza. This match will be for the vacant world title.
