Charlotte Flair reflects on making it big in WWE.
Flair spoke with WrestleZone at SummerSlam weekend. During the conversation, Flair was asked to name the biggest purchase she “made it” in pro wrestling. She joked with WrestleZone’s Bill Pritchard that she hadn’t bought a yacht (yet), but showed off her Presidential Rolex as one of her favorite purchases.
Flair then shared that her first “major” purchase as a WWE Superstar was actually a pre-owned Mini Cooper. Flair credited seeing Kristen Stewart, who played the lead role of Bella Swan in the films, driving one as a reason for wanting the car.
“My first major purchase was a used Mini Cooper in 2015. I was like, ‘I’ve made it!’ I’m driving the Kristen Stewart car from Twilight,” she said with a laugh. “That was my first [big purchase]. She drove a Mini Cooper, I wanted that.”
Stewart reached superstar status after the release of the first film in 2008. She was regularly spotted in public driving a Mini Cooper S, which likely inspired Flair’s purchase.

Nowadays, Flair spends a bit more of her money on herself, including on her in-ring wardrobe. During a recent appearance on Post Run High, Charlotte Flair said she drops serious money on her robes, estimating they cost about $15,000 a piece.
“I have these ridiculous peacock feather robes, which I’ll be working forever to afford them because I like a new one every show,” Flair said with a laugh. “[They cost] usually around $15,000. But I believe the more that you invest in yourself, the most you invest in your character, the fans invest in you. It’s just part of the ‘Charlotte Flair’ [gimmick]; the elaborate robes, the feathers, it just makes that character larger than life.”
“I think my first robe was like $4,000, but as I’ve evolved and the character has evolved, [my budget has gotten bigger]. My paycheck [has evolved],” she quipped. “I started using designers, and they don’t realize that I have to pay for these. These aren’t production, this is my money! But it’s worth every penny.”
