Former WWE NXT Star Hints At How Low Their Salary Was

Jazmyn Nyx recently announced she was leaving WWE, and the financial terms of a new contract influenced her decision. Now, a new response to her announcement hints at how much she was actually making as a talent on the NXT brand.

On Wednesday, PWInsider Elite reported that Nyx was leaving once her contract expires. According to that report, she rejected the terms of a new contract offer by WWE. Nyx, real name Jade Gentile, later confirmed that she is leaving WWE and turned down a contract offer.

“As you know, there’s been things circulating and I kinda just want to set the record straight, that I am not re-signing with WWE,” she said on her Instagram account. “This was a personal decision I had to make for myself and for my future. Personally, the contract that they were offering me for the next three years just wasn’t going to cut it for me financially and that’s ok.”

Jazmyn Nyx says she wasn’t making what fans think

Nyx later replied to a fan who claimed she was making between $80,000-150,000 as an NXT talent. However, her reply indicates that her pay was lower than that.

“They get $80-$150k how is that not cutting it financially?!,” archouletta20_ wrote on her Instagram post.

“If I was making that that would of [sic] been great!,” she replied.

Gentile did not say the exact amount she is making. However, her response would lead you to believe that it was lower than the $80,000 figure.
