He’s not a good guy, he’s not a bad guy, he’s just the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.
Ever since Roman Reigns returned to the company after dropping the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, fans have been divided about what character the Tribal Chief is trying to play.
While many believe he changed his ways and secured his role as a babyface. Others argued that he’s the same guy he’s always been, and despite the fans cheering for him now, nothing has changed regarding the core of his character.
The Tribal Chief returned once again in the closing moments of WWE RAW this week to save The Usos and help them pick up a big victory over The Vision. Following the match, Reigns had a heart-to-heart with Jey while Jimmy watched on, seemingly frustrated that history was repeating itself. Jimmy might be onto something here.
Roman Reigns sets the record straight…
WWE released an exclusive video today on social media after RAW went off the air, as Reigns cut a promo at the camera that not only established his current character in the company but also confirmed that he’s the same guy he’s always been.
“Like I said, some things change… but not me. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” Roman Reigns said. I’m tired of everybody thinking they understand the landscape. I’m tired of everybody thinking they understand the top of the mountain. Only one man understands this altitude. The Tribal Chief. The Greatest of All Time. They only want what they don’t have. Touch anything and turn it into gold. You understand that? That’s what makes me so damn good.”
