Priscilla Kelly wanted to showcase her creativity to the NXT Universe. WWE cut her from the roster before she could.
The former Gigi Dolin has returned to the independent wrestling scene after losing her WWE job in May. Priscilla revealed she was surprised by the company’s decision to release her, as she had been working hard to improve.
Since returning to indie wrestling, Kelly has squared off against Elayna Black (fka Cora Jade), Shotzi Blackheart, and Gisele Shaw, among others. She is scheduled to face Billie Starkz at GCW: The Last Frontier this Saturday.
Priscilla Kelly shares new promo ahead of GCW match
Priscilla Kelly recently dropped a promo video for her upcoming match on social media. Producer and podcaster Emilio Sparks reposted the video, expressing frustration that they never got to see this version of Kelly in WWE NXT.
Kelly responded that she had made a lot of content for her promo classes in NXT. However, she lamented that the clips would never see the light of day.
“There was a lot of fun stuff that I made for promo classes in NXT that unfortunately will never be seen,” she wrote.
