Penta Reveals If He’s Open To A TNA Wrestling Return

Penta has pretty much competed for every major wrestling company in the United States, but does he have any desire to return to TNA Wrestling?

WWE Superstar Penta was a recent guest on the Battleground Podcast. When asked if he had any interest in returning to his old stomping grounds of TNA Wrestling due to the company’s current partnership with WWE, Penta said he would be open to anything.

“Why not, man? I’m open for everything,” Penta said. “I come to WWE to conquer everything, no matter what. No matter if it’s NXT Championships, no matter if it’s AAA, no matter if it’s TNA, no matter nothing. Right now, my purpose, I am focused on two things. Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship and WrestleMania 42.

“Penta is open. I want to show to the world who is the real Penta because Penta is violence, passion, aggressive. At the same time, Penta comes from nothing, and when you come from nothing, you lose nothing. This is my mentality every day.” [H/T: Fightful]

Penta had quite the run in TNA Wrestling

The WWE Superstar competed in TNA Wrestling under the name Pentagón Jr.. He debuted for the promotion in a co-promoted event back in April 2018, where he picked up a victory in a three-way against his brother Rey Fenix and Austin Aries.

Just a few short weeks later, he would face Aries again, this time for the TNA World Championship, and would emerge from the match victorious.

The following year, he would capture TNA Tag Team gold with his brother Rey Fenix. The duo would eventually drop the titles later that year to LAX before departing the company for AEW.
