Blake Monroe criticized Ava’s choice of referee for the WWE NXT vs. TNA Survivor Series-style match.
This Tuesday, NXT and TNA will face off in a big cross-brand show, featuring men’s and women’s Survivor Series-style matches. TNA’s Director of Authority, Santino Marella, announced that Joe Hendry will referee the men’s match.
WWE NXT General Manager Ava confirmed that Jordynne Grace will referee the women’s match. Monroe, who had a heated rivalry with Grace that ended at WWE NXT: No Mercy in a Weaponized Steel Cage match. The match saw Grace picking up the win against Monroe.
Following the loss, Blake Monroe skipped last week’s NXT episode, which featured another TNA invasion. After Ava announced Jordynne Grace as the special guest referee, Monroe expressed his unhappiness on X, formerly known Twitter, writing, “You get worse every day.”
The NXT General Manager Ava responded with a mocking tone about Monroe’s absence this week from WWE NXT vs TNA showdown, writing, “It was so nice not seeing you this week ?.” Monroe even asked Shawn Michaels to fire her for the decision.
