Wes Lee‘s release was one of the more shocking ones to come from WWE‘s latest round of releases, and TNA star Zachary Wentz recently reacted to the shocking move.
In a recent post on social media, Zachary Wentz shared a simple message to Lee. In it, he said that there would always be “a seat in the Treehouse” for Lee. This is a reference to Lee’s previous history with Wentz as a member of The Rascalz, a tag team group that now consists of Trey Miguel, Wentz, and Myron Reed.
Lee’s release was perhaps the most surprising of the moves WWE made this week. Lee was former NXT North American and NXT Tag Team Champion. He most recently led High Ryze, a group that included Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.
Alongside Lee, several other WWE stars were released over the weekend. These include names like Stevie Turner, Lance Anoa’i, Jin Tala, Drako Knox, Haze Jameson, Summer Sorrell, Brayden “BJ” Ray, and Jamar Hampton.
