Moose Responds To Rumor That TNA Gave Away Comped Tickets To Break Attendance Record At Bound For Glory

Moose wants to set the record straight regarding TNA Wrestling‘s record-breaking attendance at Bound For Glory.

Sunday night at TNA Bound For Glory, Chris Bey announced that the company set a new North American attendance record of 7,794.

This should be a celebratory moment for the company. But others online are trying to tear down the accomplishment by accusing the company of giving away thousands of comped seats in order to set this record.

Former TNA World Champion Moose took to social media this week to respond to these rumors. The leader of The System attempted to set the record straight, tweeting out the following unedited statement:

“For the people saying half of our record setting attendance record was free tickets given are brain dead and fail to realize in 2016/17 myself The Hardy’s Eddie Cody Rhodes Drew McIntyre Lashley wrestled at Universal in front of only 150 people were every single ticket were free because universal didn’t allow ticket sales.

“I could understand 200/300 comped tickets for sponsors and media purposes and friends and family but 3k *facepalm emoji*. No business will take an outstanding loss just to fill up an arena. if it was that easy every company would do it and we would have done it a decade ago when we struggling to get 500 people to attend a show. Just enjoy the growth and the win. we wouldn’t be in their position without you guys our true fans. THIS IS TNA *Red heart emoji,*” Moose said in a post.

The future of TNA iMPACT

TNA Wrestling is working on securing a new television deal for iMPACT in 2026. Oddly enough, tomorrow’s episode of iMPACT will be a recap show of Bound For Glory instead of capitalizing on the company’s biggest show of the year.
