Braun Strowman Reacts To Paul Heyman Taking A Shot At Him

Former WWE star Braun Strowman discussed his online exchange with Paul Heyman.

During an interview on TMZ Inside The Ring, Braun Strowman clarified that he didn’t start the feud and never mentioned or acknowledged Paul Heyman. “I gotta stop you right there. I just keep getting this tweeting with Paul Heyman, I never even talked about Paul or acknowledged Paul, I don’t know why he got so upset and came at me, especially because he gets to see my face every commercial break on SmackDown.”

He explained that he had no idea why Heyman targeted him. He suggested he might have accidentally struck a nerve. Strowman added that Heyman might be overly sensitive or simply missing him.

“I don’t know what’s going on. And maybe he’s just sensitive or something, or maybe misses me that’s probably struggling a little bit. And they realize that when the monsters on TV draw, who knows? I’m my own man, I can handle business. How I need to handle business” [H/T: Wrestlingnews.co]

The tension between Strowman and Heyman began a few weeks ago when Heyman mocked Roman Reigns for being stretchered out after a brutal attack by Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker at WWE Clash in Paris. Heyman claimed Reigns had never been beaten that badly before, which caught Strowman’s attention.

In response, Strowman mocked Heyman by comparing him to the Batman villain The Penguin. He also reminded fans of his 2017 backstage attack that left Reigns on a stretcher. Heyman later responded, saying he had nothing bad to say about Strowman before taking a jab at his lack of relevance since leaving WWE.

Braun Strowman was released from WWE in May 2025. Since leaving the company, he has been hosting a food show on the USA Network titled Everything on the Menu.
