Former WWE Star Is Taking A Break From Wrestling

A former WWE star has revealed that he’s taking a break from pro wrestling.

Speaking on the Going Ringside podcast, former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman was asked if he was retired from wrestling. Strowman responded by stating that he’s just enjoying some time off from in-ring competition and getting himself healed up back to his normal condition.

“I’m taking a break right now,” Braun Strowman said. “These (his hands) are always ready if anybody wants them. But right now, I’m enjoying taking a little break, getting my body healed back up as to normal as I can, and experiencing some other things that life had to experience.”

Braun Strowman further claimed that he loved his time with WWE, but it took up all of his time, and now he has the opportunity to pursue other ventures.

“I loved my time with WWE, but it took up every bit of my time. Now, I’m having some opportunities to get out do some other stuff, see some other things. I’ve made some ventures. I have a tequila brand now, Quintaliza, that we’re working on that. So man, just living life and having fun.”

Braun Strowman Said He Misses Being In The Ring And The WWE Locker Room

During a recent appearance on the Battleground Podcast, Braun Strowman addressed his plans for a potential in-ring return.

He replied by stating that he misses being in the ring and the WWE locker room.

“I mean, these things are available for anybody that wants these (shows hands). We just got to figure out the money side of it,” Braun Strowman said. “Because I learned when you’re good at something, you don’t do it for free.

“But no, honestly, I miss being in the ring and I miss being in the locker room. A lot of the other stuff that comes along with it, I’m enjoying the break from because it’s very stressful. I mean, I’m still traveling a lot, but I’m getting to travel instead of like, all right, it gets to where it’s a job. Now I’m really excited about what I’m doing.” [H/T: Fightful]
