WWE NXT Results:
Trick Willie Has Something to Say
Williams grabs a mic and says he beat Saints like a drum. While the crowd boos, Williams says he ain’t leavin till he gets a title match. NXT GM Ava walks out to the ring with security. Ava says throwing a tantrum isn’t the way to go about this. There was no controversy; Williams just lost. Williams says this is his house, and he’s gonna be the last man standing. Saints has heard enough, and rushes the ring. Williams and Saints are separated by security.
Grade: B
Hot open to the show. Williams is one of the best on the mic in NXT, so his passion (and entitlement) here came through the screen like a laser. Williams is a Jackass, which just flat out works. After Saints ran circles around him on the mic last week, Williams had to hit back. This seems like Williams is about to finish up in NXT. At this point, it’s time, and putting Saints over in a big gimmick match (Williams mentioned being the last man standing) would be a great send-off.
Men’s Speed Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match: Jasper Troy vs. Axiom
Axiom lands a flurry of leg kicks and slaps. Troy is unfazed. Axiom tries to stick and move. Troy drives Axiom into the corner and locks in a choke. Troy sends Axiom out to the apron. Rope dragon screw by Axiom. Missile dropkick by Axiom. Axiom tries the Golden Ratio, but Troy counters with a body block. Troy eventually hits the Blackhole Slam for the win.

Winner and NEW Number One Contender, Jasper Troy!
Grade: C
Well, at least Troy won another match. Actual wins for Troy have been few and far between. With that, these Speed matches are just hard to care about on any level. Wrestling is about storytelling, and doing that in three minutes consistently is impossible.
The NEW…
The new NXT Women’s Champion, Tatum Paxley, is out with the rest of the Culling. Paxley screams that they did it! The crowd chants that Paxley deserves it. It’s not about Paxley having this title; it’s about what it represents. Paxley talks about her journey. Paxley wants to be the type of champion who gives everyone an opportunity. Izzie Dame cuts Paxley off and tries to convince Paxley not to risk putting the title on the line so soon. Dame suggests that Paxley should make her challengers earn it like Paxley did.
Paxley says she’s doing this, and since the crowd was upset, they didn’t spin the wheel for Halloween Havoc this year, so she brought it back with a twist. Paxley is going to spin the wheel, and whatever name it lands on will be her first challenger tonight. Dame tries to get Paxley to reconsider. Shawn Spears notes the Dame’s name isn’t on the wheel. Paxley says, of course not, she would never let the championship come between them. Dame musters a pained smile. Paxley spins the wheel, and it lands on Lola Vice. Paxley is ecstatic.
Grade: B-
Standard “I just won a championship” stuff here. The people didn’t pop for the wheel, which is surprising. It’s nice to see Paxley finally get a big win. Hopefully, this lasts longer than it seems; Dame is going to find a way to cost Paxley that title, and it’s probably going to be sooner rather than later.
WWE Women’s Evolve Championship Match: Kendall Grey (c) w/Wren Sinclair vs. Lash Legend
Legend tosses Grey all over the place. Legend misses an elbow drop. Grey tries a slingshot double stomp, but Legend blocks it and tosses Grey over the top rope. Grey gets to her feet and gets decapitated by a big boot from Legend. After the break, Grey fires up and lands a flurry. Legend misses a boot in the corner. Grey hits her finish for the win.
Grade: C+
Solid TV match. No clue why Legend needed to even be in this match, but whatever. All TV time is good TV time, right?
Travion Heights vs. Myles Borne
Heights and Borne fist-bumped before the match. Borne and Heights trade pin attempts. Neither superstar can get the advantage, leading to a stalemate. After the break, Josh Briggs is out at the commentary desk. Back in the ring, Borne lands a moonsault. Heights responds with the ankle lock. Borne sends Heights into the turnbuckle to break the hold.
Powerslam by Borne. Heights kicks out. Borne runs into an overhead belly-to-belly. Borne kicks at two. Heights and Briggs get into it outside the ring. Briggs gets on the apron. Heights knocks Briggs to the floor. Borne takes out Heights and Briggs with a dive. After a series of counters, Borne rolls up Heights for the win.
Winner- Myles Borne
After the match, Borne and Heights shake hands. Briggs drags Heights out of the ring. Heights and Briggs fight off. Trick Williams hops the barricade and hits Borne with a chair. Williams wants the Saints to give him his title back. Saints hops the barricade and attacks Williams. Williams and Saints are separated by security yet again.
Grade: B-
Good TV match. Not much to say here, but Williams attacking Borne… does that mean anything?
NXT Women’s Championship Match: Tatum Paxley w/The Culling vs. Lola Vice
Vice and Paxley trade takedowns and submission holds. The former NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne and the rest of Fatal Influence are marching into the arena. Back in the ring, Vice almost destroys Paxley with a head kick. Jayne and Co. attack Dame outside the ring. Vice and Paxley go back-to-back as Fatal Influence surrounds the ring. Jayne, Henley, and Reid beat down Paxley and Vice. Jayne knocks Paxley out with the Rolling Encore.
No Contest
Grade: C+
This one had legs, but they were cut out from under them with the outside interference from the angry former champion and her crew. Jayne clearly isn’t done with Paxley or the championship. Paxley has 99 problems at this point; Dame, Jayne, and Vice, who still has a claim to a fair title shot.
TNA Knockouts World Championship Match: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Jordynne Grace
After a bit of back and forth, Jordan slaps Grace. Grace loses it, and after a Thez Press, rains down punches. Jordan whiffs on two different flavors of dives that Grace sells like she was hit with a bazooka. The fight continues outside the ring when Jordan slams Grace’s knee into the steel ring steps. After the break, Jordan is working over Grace. Grace fires up, but Jordan sends Grace back to the mat after a chop block.
Grace surprises Jordan with a flurry. After a struggle up top, Jordan lands a Spanish fly. On the ramp, Saints and Williams are still fighting. In the confusion, Jordan brings the championship into the ring, but decides not to use it. Grace blasts Jordan with Chaos Theory. The referee is busy outside the ring with the chaos of Saints and Williams’ brawl. Jordan kicks out. Williams and Saints’ brawl spills into the ring. While the referee is distracted, Jordan hits Grace in the head with the championship and pins her.
Winner and STILL TNA Knockout’s Champion, Kelani Jordan!
After the match, Saints spears Williams through a wall near ringside. Ava storms out to the ring and tells Saints and Williams that if they want to fight until they can’t stand, find. They can do it in two weeks in a Last Man Standing Match for the NXT Championship. Saints and Williams, who can both barely stand as it is, tear into each other yet again.
Grade: B-
Good match. Despite the madness of Saints and Williams running through the end of the match, Jordan has finally broken bad completely. Jordan has been dancing around a heel turn for months. Let’s see how this goes. Also, in short order, Williams and Saints have turned a petty beef into a believable blood feud. That’s impressive. This writer can’t wait to see these two try to murder each other on national TV in two weeks. This will be Sports Entertainment for sure.
This event is ongoing. This information will be updated as the event progresses.
