Ricky Saints recently addressed his name change in WWE.
Reigning NXT Champion Ricky Saints was known for his time in All Elite Wrestling, where he worked under the name Ricky Starks. However, after he signed with WWE in February 2025, he had to undergo a name change.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Ricky Saints was asked if he had any problems with his name change in WWE. The reigning NXT Champion responded that he wasn’t stressed about the change because he was the same person at heart.
“I wasn’t stressed about it because I’m the same person at heart. Even then, when I’m in the airport, people still call me Starks. ‘Oh, I’m so sorry.’ Either way, you still know how I am. I am appreciative and thankful for that in itself. I didn’t really think about how long it would take, I just knew it would happen and eventually people would be like, ‘I can get with it now,’” [H/T Fightful]
