Ex-WWE Star Had Hilarious Exchange With Cops While He Was Trick-Or-Treating

An ex-WWE Superstar shared a hilarious encounter with the police while trick-or-treating with his kids on Halloween.

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Heath Slater recently appeared on The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast and revealed an interesting conversation he had with the cops on Halloween.

“Bro, I got pulled over by two cops tonight. In a neighborhood to where I have been for the last five years, having fun. These two cops pulled up, and I get out my truck, and I’m like looking at them, and I’m literally like this [makes a puzzled face while noting his Buzz Lightyear costume]. Dude, I swear exactly, I’m painting you a picture here.

“I step out of my big a** truck, light it up, caution tape all over it. Like, I mean, I’m standing out like a sore thumb, bro. I pop out and I’m like, I’m a foot taller than both of these cops, and I’m just looking at them, just like this, like I’m looking at you like, ‘Yeah, what’s up, man? Happy Halloween!’

The former WWE Superstar said the cops asked him if he was throwing fireworks off his truck, and that he replied he was only letting off smoke bombs to create an eerie feeling for the neighborhood kids.

“They look at me, and they’re like, ‘Hey, I’m sorry, but we’ve been getting some calls in this neighborhood, of you throwing fireworks, and letting fireworks off in this truck.’ I said, ‘Well, officer, I mean, I’m sorry, but whoever called and told you, they’re mistaken. Because I’m throwing smoke bombs out and making this little eerie feeling for the kids, you know, to make sure they have a good feeling for Halloween.’

“I said, ‘I’ve been doing this the last five years, bro,’ and he was like, ‘So have you been lighting fireworks and throwing them out and everything?’ I was like, ‘Nah, not fireworks.’ I said, ‘But I have these little firecrackers that I’ve been popping here and there.’ And he said, ‘Have you been throwing them at kids?’ I said, ‘Hell no! Why would I throw them at kids when I got kids with me?’

“Brother cop looked at me and said, ‘I understand.'”
