Who would MVP want to step into the ring with for his retirement match in AEW?
All Elite Wrestling‘s MVP recently spoke to WrestleZone via AdventureGamers.com. When asked who his final opponent from the AEW roster would be if he could handpick his opponent, MVP admits he hasn’t picked the person out yet, but has a few ideas of who it could end up being.
“I don’t have that person picked out yet,” MVP admitted. “But there are some people that I have in mind that I’ve watched, that I’m watching grow and develop. And I mean, the other part of that too is that’s a gift that you give to someone, to a younger talent. I’m giving them this on my way out. Now they can take it, build on it and go forward with it.
“So I think that’s something that still has to come in terms of these guys that I’m learning about and bonding with. And because there are so many young, talented guys there that I like, who just have a huge upside. Swerve Strickland’s amazing. I have to talk about Kyle Fletcher. Jet Knight is an incredible kid. So there are a few people that I see as potential future arch-nemesis.”
MVP recently signed a contract extension with AEW
The Hurt Syndicate member also revealed in his interview with AdventureGamers that he recently signed a contract extension with All Elite Wrestling and intends to be around the company for years to come in both an on-screen and behind-the-scenes capacity.
