The Latest On Andrade El Idolo’s WWE Non-Compete — Report

Andrade El Idolo‘s WWE non-compete continues to get crazier by the week.

The last few months have been pretty crazy for Andrade. He was terminated from his WWE contract back in September. Weeks later, he made his shocking return to All Elite Wrestling on an episode of AEW Dynamite. Although due to a cease-and-desist from WWE’s legal team over terminology in his contract, he disappeared just as quickly.

Last week, he was in the news once again after being quiet for many weeks due to a report that suggested he walked out on a Crash event in Mexico. However, we now know there’s a lot more to that story than initially revealed.

Earlier this week, Luchablog provided more information regarding what went down between Andrade and Crash. While the initial report of him signing autographs before the show and leaving is true, it’s not because there was an issue between El Idolo and the promotion.

Multiple sources have informed Luchablog that Andrade’s WWE non-compete isn’t just restricted to the United States; it’s a worldwide ban that prevents him from wrestling anywhere.

We’re sure there will be more information regarding this in the coming days. But we are pretty certain this situation will end up in court between Andrade and WWE.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
