Update: The Big Event is disputing K&S’s claim, noting that the private signing would only happen if there was time to do so. K&S has since removed the initial post.
WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg recently walked out of a private autograph signing, according to a vendor at the event.
In a recent post on Facebook from K & S WrestleFest, the WCW Legend was set to have a signing with the group today at The Big Event, an autographing expo.
The post notes that, after finishing another private signing he was doing, Goldberg had other ideas. The group says Goldberg left the event prior to completing their signing, and apologized to those who had paid to be a part of it.
“Unfortunately Goldberg private signing did not happen,” reads the post. “We had all our items laid out ready to sign as Goldberg was doing another Private for another vendor. After he was done, he got up and said he was done..He walked out past our stuff, and left.. We are all super disappointed, and frustrated… My apologies to all…”
As of this writing, Goldberg hasn’t commented on the matter. It’s unclear whether or not he had prior obligations or simply decided to leave ahead of time. The legendary wrestler retired earlier this year, with one final match in WWE in July, a loss to Gunther.
