As it stands, Rhea Ripley‘s WarGames team is currently down two members. After a conversation with AJ Lee, however, that may change.
On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, Lee returned to distract Becky Lynch during her Women’s Intercontinental Championship match against Maxxine Dupri. This move proved pivotal as Lynch turned back around to meet a crossbody from Dupri, who then pinned “The Man” for the win and the official title change.
Backstage, Lee and Dupri celebrated, with Lee adding that she loves underdogs like Dupri and hates bullies like Lynch. When interviewer Jackie Redmond then asked Lee if she planned to stick around following her return, Lee teased that she might.
“Jackie, when I came back, I wanted to help my husband out. He needed a hand. But Becky, she just lights a fire in me that I forgot that I had. She makes me feel things. So who knows?”
Before Lee could make an exit, Rhea Ripley asked the three-time Divas Champion if she had a moment to chat. Lee agreed, prompting the two to walk off together and wrestling world to begin speculating.
While unconfirmed if she will take part, it’s worth noting that Lee’s reemergence lines up just days before WWE Survivor Series on November 29. The 2025 Women’s WarGames match currently pits Ripley, IYO SKY, and Alexa Bliss against Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka, and Kairi Sane. Charlotte Flair initially seemed to be siding with Ripley’s team as well, but due to her heated past with Ripley, she stepped down from the bout.
Should Lee align with Ripley for WarGames, it will mark her first time competing in the respective match. It will also mark her first Survivor Series appearance since 2014, when Nikki Bella quickly dethroned her as Divas Champion.
