Female Wrestlers Call Out Promoter For Payment Scam

Salina de la Renta recently called out a promoter, in a since-deleted message that accused the man of scamming her.

In a since-deleted post on X, the MLW star called out Jason Blaustein, the owner of Collector’s Expo, for allegedly failing to pay her for a recent autograph signing appearance. In the deleted post, de la Renta said that she had done three signings for him, and two had been good, but the last one ended with no payment.

“This is Jason Blaustein, he owns Collector’s expo,” de la Renta wrote. “I’ve done about 3 signings for him. The first two were good. I was warned by others that he has recently been booking stars and not pay them after. He just did it to me and I have a one year old baby. If you are in pro wrestling, BE WARNED! Don’t trust him.”

The post quickly garnered support and corroboration from other people in the wrestling industry. Several other individuals also took to social media to share their own stories of having issues with the man.

Following the commotion across social media, it seems like both parties had reached an agreement. Salina took to social media to note that she was contacted by Blaustein and that the pair had “reached a resolution.” The star noted that she’d been paid, and considered the issue “now fully settled.”
