Paul Heyman teased how big WrestleMania 42 could be while promoting WWE Survivor Series.
During a recent appearance on ESPN’s First Take, WWE’s resident Oracle hyped the Men’s WarGames match as the “greatest assembly of talent on either side.” He also highlighted that the talent on Survivor Series could serve as a preview of WrestleMania 42.
“This is really an infomercial for WrestleMania [42],” Heyman said. “Because, as you must know by now, there’s such a huge publicity push out there that the individual tickets for WrestleMania Saturday and WrestleMania Sunday go on sale on Black Friday.
“So we are out there just showing the world, ‘Hey, check out this spectacle. Check out what WWE is about, and our biggest show of the year, WrestleMania, individual tickets going on sale.’ This is our audition for the world to come to Vegas for WrestleMania, at the same time, giving the most bang for the buck and the greatest WarGames of all time.”
Will fans get a teaser of the WrestleMania 42 main event after WWE Survivor Series?
According to Ibou of Self Made, Paul Heyman appears to be teasing the setup for the WrestleMania 42 main event with his comments about the Men’s WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series. The report also noted that WWE is expected to unveil its plans for the “Biggest Show of the Year” during the Survivor Series fallout.
“Heyman is essentially giving it away here, but as a free scoop, I had been told by someone close to the situation about two weeks ago that the plan was to make the WrestleMania main event clear coming out of WarGames and on the week of television following Survivor Series. I’d imagine it’d be similar to when they had Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns face off on the fall 2023 SmackDown season premiere to tell you that was still on track for WM40.”
