Booker T Says WWE Legend’s Daughter Could Become Wrestling’s Next Big Star

Booker T says he’s proud of the daughter of the WWE legend Eddie Guerrero, as she begins her wrestling career.

Last month, Sherilyn Guerrero officially started her professional wrestling training, marking a new chapter in the iconic Guerrero family legacy. Reality of Wrestling (ROW) announced the news on social media, proudly welcoming her to the Texas-based school.

Booker T, who owns and operates Reality of Wrestling (ROW), personally welcomed Sherilyn to the school with excitement. Now, weeks later, the WCW legend has shared an update on her training. On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T discussed Sherilyn’s decision to enter the wrestling business and train under him at ROW.

“She made that leap,” Booker T said. “She wanted to go on this journey and see exactly where it takes her. I’m so proud of her for coming to Reality of Wrestling and trusting me, and hopefully guiding her in that right direction.

“One thing about Reality of Wrestling, it’s never about anything other than trying to produce the best talent that we possibly can. Hopefully, she’s in the best situation she possibly could be in, and we might be seeing the next big star this business has to offer.” [H/T: Wrestletalk]

Booker T shows concern over Bret Hart’s recent remarks and ‘bitterness’

On the same episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T addressed Bret Hart’s recent controversial comments. “Bret Hart has been all over the place lately. I really don’t even know what it is. This dude… I like Bret Hart. Bret Hart has done so much for this business, and now at this stage of the game, everything’s nuclear. Everything’s, ‘Burn, let everything burn.’ It’s just like, man, why? Why?

“I know Bret Hart had his issues with Goldberg and those issues are deep rooted over what happened inside the ring. But one thing I must say – stuff that happens in the ring, it happens. I don’t think none of us go out in the middle of the ring and try to hurt anybody on purpose or anything like that.

“But I just think Bret Hart is a much better person than the person that’s been doing these podcasts and making a lot of these claims that he’s been making as of late. Some of this stuff you just can’t walk back.

“Some of this stuff you can’t walk back and we’ve gotta see each other at some point in time. And to not be able to relive some of the greatest moments in the history of this business because of bitterness – it’s gonna be a lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely dark day at the end of this ride. And I just said man, I just think Bret Hart’s a much, much better person than the person that we’ve been seeing as of late. I know he is.”
