John Cena Returning To WWE RAW In 2026 Rumor Killer

Despite what you might have seen, John Cena’s last time is still going to be in 2025.

Cena intends to retire from in-ring competition this year, with his retirement match set to take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13. Fans have continued to speculate that Cena could extend his WWE career into 2026, and a new image making the rounds seems to support that.

An image from the WWE website features John Cena advertised for the ‘RAW After WrestleMania’ at T-Mobile Arena. However, it’s not a new image or advertised date; it’s an ad from last year.

John Cena isn’t advertised for RAW in 2026

The link on the WWE website lists Monday, April 21, as the date for the RAW After WrestleMania edition of RAW in Las Vegas. That is the date for the 2025 show. RAW will take place in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena in 2026, but that will be on April 20, not April 21. WrestleMania 42 is set to take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19 at Allegiant Stadium.

In addition to the dates being wrong, Cena is wearing his “Last Time Is Now” merchandise that he debuted last year. Furthermore, the “Tickets” link redirects to a page without any listings on it.

John Cena previously told the Club Shay Shay podcast that he signed an agreement to remain part of the WWE family after 2025. This could include occasional non-wrestling appearances, but Cena has been adamant that he is retiring after his last match on December 13 and won’t go back on his word.

Cena is also rumored to be part of the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, but that remains unconfirmed.
