John Cena Shares High Praise for Former WWE Women’s Champion

John Cena has expressed major appreciation for former WWE Women’s Champion Bayley just days before he wrestles the final match of his career.

Cena will face Gunther at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, but before that, he took time to support Bayley’s newest project. She recently hosted a three-day Lodestone 2025 training camp for independent women wrestlers.

Bayley on X, formerly known as Twitter, revealed that WWE star John Cena made a surprise appearance on the final day of the camp and stayed there to share his guidance. She tweeted that Cena watched 10 women’s matches and spent eight full hours with the group, offering guidance and support.

The former WWE Women’s Champion wrote, “THE FIRST IS FOREVER. LODESTONE 2025 Thank you @JohnCena . And as we’re exactly one week away from his last match, John showed up today. Watched 10 women’s matches, and spent 8 hours with us. LEGIT EIGHT HOURS. No conversation or piece of advice could’ve impacted me the way he did today, by just showing up. Not just for me, but for each person in that room. This meant the world. I’ll always strive to be what John was today. THE GOAT.”

Cena has now responded to her message and praised Bayley for creating something meaningful for the business. He wrote, “Pam, you had asked me a while ago how you could help ‘the business’. You have created something that does exactly that. A collaborative environment with the purpose of making everyone in the room better than they were yesterday. Attitude is infectious, the attitude you’ve created allowed me to be better than I was yesterday. Thank you for all you do. Thanks to the entire group of incredible individuals. It was my honor to be invited into the room.”

As Cena prepares to face Gunther in his final WWE match, he made it clear that Bayley’s dedication to helping other wrestlers has earned his deepest respect.
