Bayley has opened up about her future in WWE and revealed she’s interested in working behind the scenes when her in-ring career eventually winds down.
Speaking to The Undertaker and Michelle McCool on Six Feet Under podcast, Bayley admitted she’s curious about becoming a WWE producer, even though the job is challenging. She said, “I don’t know creative wise if I would be in the writer’s room or anything good like that, but maybe producing, I would enjoy that. I’ve done it a few times. I’ve produced stuff in ‘NXT.’ It’s very hard and I don’t know if I’d be a good producer right now.
She explained that she currently sees herself more as a coach, possibly even opening a wrestling school one day. “I see myself more as a coach or if I were to open a school and coaching and stuff, it’s very different than producing.”
“But then when I think, okay, however much longer I’m gonna be wrestling, there’s still all the girls that I wanna see them see them grow in their career … So I have thought okay, maybe I should try to learn how to do that better so I could be around and be a part of it and just wear another hat.” [H/T: WrestlingInc]
Bayley has been with WWE for 13 years and has achieved almost everything in her career. Because of her experience, many believe she would be a great fit behind the scenes, helping guide the next generation of women’s wrestlers.
Whether she chooses that path is still uncertain. For now, she appears far from winding down her in-ring career.
