Sting Names His Favorite Feud of All Time

What is Sting’s favorite feud of all time? The Icon tells all.

Speaking to Going Ringside in a new interview, the real-life Steve Borden was asked to name his favorite feud of all time.

“Oh, it’s got to be Ric Flair,” Sting said. “Of course, the Nature Boy. He put me on the map… It was July of 1990 when I won the world title for the first time. And then back in March of 1988, I had my very first world title match that really put me on the map.”

Sting on his longevity in pro wrestling

When asked if he ever thought he’d be active in the business for four decades, Sting said:

“No. I was the guy who said, ‘I don’t understand all those old guys hanging around for so long.’ I could not understand it. I said, ‘I will never do that.’ And I blew them all out of the water. Four decades later, here I am.”

Borden is working the final dates of his 2025 Or Never tour, offering wrestling fans their last opportunity to see Old Man Sting in his iconic face paint. More details about the tour can be found here.
