The first look at WWE stars Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes in their new live-action Street Fighter movie is out.
Paramount Pictures released the first teaser on Thursday during The Game Awards, revealing Cody Rhodes as Guile, Roman Reigns as Akuma, and several other cast members in costume for the first time.
Shortly after the reveal, Roman Reigns took to X, formerly known as Twitter and posted an photo of his character with the writing, “Embrace the darkness. Akuma is coming.” Reigns and Rhodes also appeared in a fun Instagram Story shared by Jason Momoa, who plays Blanka in the film. The video shows Momoa meeting the two WWE stars, joking, “The two Big Joes just met.”
Jason Momoa then pulled out his Blanka character design to show them and both Rhodes and Reigns reacted with excitement. After the fun exchange, Reigns later shared a photo with Momoa on his own Instagram.
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes joins the cast alongside Jason Momoa, Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken Masters, Andrew Koji as Ryu, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim, Eric André as Don Sauvage, 50 Cent as Balrog.
It also stars Orville Peck as Vega, Olivier Richters as Zangief, Hirooki Goto as E. Honda, Rayna Vallandingham as Juli, Alexander Volkanovski as Joe, Kyle Mooney as Marvin and Mel Jarnson as Cammy. Directed by Kitao Sakurai, Street Fighter is set to release in theaters on October 16, 2026.
