TNA iMPACT Results
We get a recap of last week’s episode featuring NXT’s Lexis King winning the steel cage advantage match over Matt Cardona, The Hardys’ in-ring confrontation with The Righteous, and Santino Marella’s shocking announcement.

- The finish of the match saw Bear Bronson eliminate Eric Young to become the new number one contender for the TNA World Championship. Bronson will challenge Frankie Kazarian for his title on the first TNA iMPACT of 2026.
Winner: Bear Bronson
Grade: C+
I’m not high on battle royals. Watching over-the-top-rope eliminations feels like sitting through a filler episode of an anime. That being said, the outcome of tonight’s battle royal surprised me. Having Bear Bronson emerge as the new number one contender is definitely a bold move. Bronson likely won’t win, but this shows TNA is willing to bet on a newcomer.
Team TNA addresses steel cage match
We hear from the participants of tonight’s steel cage match. It’s TNA side doing the talking before Santino Marella, Steve Maclin, The Hardys, and Mike Santana go to war with Team NXT. Santana caps off the segment by sending a warning to Tyson, Tyriek, Brooks Jensen, Lexis King, and Stacks.
Bear Bronson is gunning for the TNA World Championship
Gia Miller is backstage with Bear Bronson for his comments following his huge win in his second TNA Wrestling match. Bronson says he’s feeling validate. Bear says every scar on his forehead tells a story. Bear says he’s been in countless death matches across America. Bronson puts himself over as the “most dominant free agent in professional wrestling” before sending a warning to Frankie Kazarian.
Angel Warriors (Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside) vs. Tessa Blanchard and Mila Moore
- The finish of the match saw Lei ying Lee plant Mila Moore with a swinging facebuster for the win.
Winners: Angel Warriors
Grade: A-
Justified “this is awesome chants” from the crowd. TNA did the right thing by pairing Mila Moore with Tessa Blanchard. These two are TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions in the making. As for Lei Ying Lee, she’ll probably put her title on the line against Dani Luna in near future.
Dani Luna sounds off
Dani Luna recaps her brutal dog collar match against Indi Hartwell from last week’s TNA iMPACT. Luna has a message for TNA Knockouts World Champion Lei Ying Lee. Let’s see if this match goes down on the first TNA iMPACT of 2026.
Diamond Collective speaks following tag team loss
Robert Stone questions Diamond Collective’s loss. He calls Tessa Blanchard, Mila Moore and Victoria Crawford the Michael Jordan of TNA. Blanchard says they are going to redeem themselves. An open challenge is issued to any three Knockouts in the locker room to step up.
Lei Ying Lee is ready for Dani Luna
Angel Warriors are interviewed backstage following their win. Gia Miller tells Lei Ying Lee Dani Luna wants a shot at her TNA Knockouts World Champion. Lee sounds optimistic about the challenge.
Elijah in concert
Elijah tunes up the band. The crowd stars chanting “walk with Elijah.” Elijah dedicates his song to the El Paso crowd. The crowd starts singing alone. Tasha Steelz interrupt the song. She’s got Special Agent Zero with her. Steelz says they are not here to sing and dance to Elijah’s music. The crowd doesn’t let her speak. Steelz introduces Mustafa Ali to the podium.
Ali says he’s here to discuss what went down at TNA Final Resolution, the Lasso of El Paso, referencing his humiliation at the hands of Elijah. Ali asks the fans to rise and observe a brief moment of silence for the victim of the tragedy. Elijah plays his guitar. Ali calls him a disgusting human being and distracts him long enough for The Great Hands ambush.
Elijah fights off the two-on-one assault. He then walks straight to Ali but is interrupted by Tasha Steelz. Elijah picks her up and puts her aside only to get hit in the back with a guitar. The segment ends with Ali, Steelz, Jason Hotch, John Skyler, and Special Agent Zero standing tall over a fallen Elijah.
Indi Hartwell is feeling the effects of the Dog Collar match
We see Indi Harwell in a video promo. Indi talks about her war with Dani Luna from last week’s TNA iMPACT. She says she proved she is the best Knockouts in TNA before vowing to become the TNA Knockouts World Champion.
We hear from Moose
Moose sounds disappointed over not winning the 20-man battle royal. However, the big man brings up his rematch clause for the X Division Championship. Moose is interrupted by Cedric Alexander who says he’s next in line for Leon Slater’s title.
Frankie Kazarian on upcoming world title match
Frankie Kazarian is seeing talking to a portrait of Elvis Presley. Kaz says people should get used to seeing him as the TNA World Championship because the title is going know wear. He then focuses his attention on his opponent, Bear Bronson, ahead of their world title clash in two weeks on TNA iMPACT.
Santino Marella, Steve Maclin, The Hardys (Matt and Jeff Hardy), and Mike Santana vs. Tyson, Tyriek, Brooks Jensen, Lexis King, and Stacks – Steel Cage Main Event
- The finish of the match saw Mike Santana plant Brooks Jensen with the Spin the Block for the win.
Winners: Team TNA
After the match, all four men celebrate inside the ring. Marella stays behind to confront his “future son-in-law” Stacks for the attack at TNA Final Resolution. Santino tells Stacks to get up on his feet. Arianna Grace appears to give her father a hug only to follow-up with a low blow.
Marella is trapped inside the cage with no where to go. Maclin climbs the cage walls but Stacks escape in the nick of time. Arianna is confronted by both Maclin and Santana but she calls her father a deadbeat. On stage, Arianna meets with Stacks as they celebrate while Team NXT looks on with a look of disgust.
Where’s Matt Hardy?
We see a video package of Matt Hardy waking up inside what appears to be a shrine dedicated to him and Jeff. Hardy was carried away by The Righteous after being planted shoulder-first into the steel steps during the Steel Cage main event.
Vincent approaches Matt with a proposition, saying the Hardys could ascend to greater heights if he lets him “help me help you.” Vincent then references “one of many” before Matt breaks free and escapes as the vignette comes to an end.
Overall Grade: A-
This was a crazy episode, especially the ending. Team TNA may have eliminated the NXT outlaws, but they seem to have bigger problems in The Righteous. Vincent spoke about “one of many.” Could this be related to The Cleanse Eric Young has been referencing in his cryptic promos?
Arianna Grace pulled a Stephanie McMahon moment straight out of Armageddon 1999, except Steph didn’t hit Vince in the balls.
TNA has been solid this year. Let’s hope it continues riding this wave of momentum and improves even further when it debuts on AMC on January 15, 2026.
That’s it for tonight’s coverage of TNA iMPACT, and this writer will see you next year.
