CM Punk got to give a Florida couple some great news about the baby they are expecting.
Saturday night’s WWE live event in Tampa was notable for a few reasons. The event saw Gunther do the 6-7 meme taunt during his match against Je’Von Evans. The WWE Universe was also treated to a surprise gender reveal that CM Punk participated in.
“We have a couple over here who are asking me to do their baby’s gender reveal,” Punk told the crowd in Tampa. “So in the spirit of being a good-natured human being, I’m going to oblige. But, I thought you should all join in on the festivities.”
Punk joked around with the couple, Krista and Joshua, after being told the “mom wrote the note,” before clarifying that the grandmother wrote it. Punk then asked for a drumroll before sharing that it’s a… GIRL! He congratulated Krista and Joshua’s first daughter, who was in attendance, on becoming a big sister.

CM Punk defeated Bronson Reed (with Bron Breakker) to retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in Tampa. His next scheduled televised match is a title defense against Breakker on the January 5, 2026, episode of WWE Raw on Netflix.
