Female WWE Star Agrees With William Regal’s Grim Warning About Neck Injuries

A female WWE star joins several other wrestling personalities in agreeing with William Regal’s recent warning about neck injuries.

Wrestling legend and current WWE Vice President of Global Talent Development, William Regal, recently took to X/Twitter to warn the current generation of wrestlers about the dangers of ignoring neck injuries. Sharing his personal experience, Regal expressed that no amount of money or fame is worth the pain and advised wrestlers not to put themselves at risk by performing dangerous moves.

Several wrestling personalities have agreed with William Regal’s take and shared their personal experiences and opinions. The list also includes current WWE star Piper Niven, who is also dealing with a neck injury. She quoted Regal’s tweet and amplified the legend’s message with her own words.

“The line between ‘But I feel fine!’ And ‘I just want to feel ok again’ Is horrifically thin and you have zero idea how close you are teetering on the edge of it. Please take heed my darlings.”

Piper Niven has been out of action since her match against Charlotte Flair on the August 22, 2025, episode of SmackDown. It was reported back in September that she is battling a neck injury, which, despite being serious, is not career-threatening as believed earlier.

WWE’s Chelsea Green Shares How She’s Supporting Piper Niven While She’s Injured

During a recent interview with Woman’s World, reigning WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green revealed how she’s supporting Piper Niven as the latter recovers from injury.

“We have all watched each other go through injuries,” Green said. “The girls took care of me when I broke my collarbone in India almost 10 years ago. They washed my hair, packed my bags, took me to the airport, got me on a plane home.

“Now it’s my turn to make sure that Piper is okay—more so mentally. There’s not much I can do physically, but I want to make sure that as she takes that step back, she realizes this is the time to rest, recover, brainstorm new ideas, start a new hobby, and not get in her head. Because, trust me, we get in our heads!”
