We have a spoiler on a surprising appearance of an NXT Superstar set for WWE SmackDown later this evening.
WWE SmackDown returns to the 3-hour format this evening, and the company is hoping to kick off 2026 with a pretty big show. This afternoon, a spoiler got out revealing that another NXT star is set to make their main roster debut later this evening.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace is backstage at tonight’s episode of SmackDown in Buffalo.
Grace will be appearing on the show. A pre-tape segment, which also involved Charlotte Flair and WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill, was filmed earlier today.
Cargill was set to face Michin this evening, but due to an injury during the Holiday Tour, that match appears to be off.
Here is everything currently announced for tonight’s episode of SmackDown:
- Women’s United States Championship: Chelsea Green (c) vs. Giulia
- Ambulance Match: Damian Priest vs. Aleister Black
- Rhea Ripley IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss, and Charlotte Flair vs. The Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend
- Drew McIntyre reveals the stipulation of his Three Stages of Hell match with Cody Rhodes
