Kevin Nash didn’t hold back anything while reacting to CM Punk trolling him at a WWE live event.
WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently claimed CM Punk looked like he’s done with wrestling and also took a shot at him for wearing a t-shirt while being the reigning World Heavyweight Champion. In response, Punk trolled Nash at a recent live event when he took off his t-shirt to reveal he was wearing another shirt underneath it.
Now, speaking on the latest episode of his Kliq This podcast, Nash mocked the t-shirt CM Punk wore at the live event, calling it a bargain basement clearance t-shirt.
“Before I even made a comment, I looked at the t-shirt, and the t-shirt that Phil had on was $16.99. It was a clearance t-shirt. It’s that shirt where you ask for a shirt, and the merchandise guy didn’t give you the one that’s selling for 35 bucks up in tier three. He gives you the $16.99 bargain basement.”
When asked if CM Punk’s gesture at the live event was a way of acknowledging that he listens to his podcast, Kevin Nash sarcastically replied, “Wouldn’t it be easier to just go to the gym?”

He then recalled the promo segment he had with CM Punk back in 2011. Kevin Nash noted that he was 50 years old at that time and then took a shot at Punk for falling victim to the NDT shirt. It means “No Definition T-shirt,” which is Nash’s term for describing someone hiding their lack of muscle behind loose-fitting shirts.
“Wouldn’t it be easier to just go to the gym? You know what? This is the thing that kills me. So, this is in 2011. I’m 50-something years old when I come back, and he gives me the whole bullshit about, ‘Lol, thought you were dead,’ and all that. I’m not allowed to comment back because I’ve been told by Vince that I’m not allowed to cut a promo. Here he is. How old is Phil now, 48/47? He’s already fallen victim to the NDT shirt,” Kevin Nash said.
