Mick Foley Shows Support For Jesse Ventura Following Recent Donald Trump Comments

Mick Foley has recently shown support for former wrestler-turned-politician Jesse Ventura following his recent critique of Donald Trump.

This week, the former Minnesota Governor had some harsh words for Trump following an incident in which an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer fatally shot an unarmed woman in Minneapolis.

Ventura called Trump a “draft-dodging coward” who “did what all rich white boys did” when it was time to serve. Ventura also said that he “gave up on the country” when Trump was re-elected in 2024, and even teased a potential run for Minnesota governor again.

In a post on Instagram sharing the video, Foley said he stood with Ventura and was “proud” to see him speaking out. “I agree wholeheartedly with ‘The Body’ here, and I don’t know if anyone could have said it better,” wrote Foley. “We can’t keep letting Trump and his gutless yes men lie to us over and over. America needs to be better than this — we have to move on from this era of domestic and international cruelty.”

Last month, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley announced on his social media platforms that he was parting ways with the company over their association with Donald Trump. Foley revealed that he would no longer be making appearances for the company and would not renew his Legends deal when it expires in 2026.
