The partnership between AEW and CMLL continues as the company has signed two more CMLL talents to dual contracts.
Last year, AEW signed CMLL star Hechicero to a dual contract with the company. That practice will seemingly continue in 2026.
All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan took to social media to announce the Persephone has signed a dual contract with the company, tweeting out:
“She’s a top star in @CMLL_OFICIAL, and now with her dual contract, she’s officially All Elite! Welcome to @AEW, Persephone,” Tony Khan said in a post.
Several minutes later, Khan returned to social media to announce that Mascara Dorada has also signed a dual contract with AEW, tweeting out:
“He’s a fan favorite in @CMLL_OFICIAL, in @ringofhonor, and in @AEW, and with his new dual contract, now he’s officially All Elite! Welcome to AEW, @MascaraDoradMD,” Khan said in a post.
These announcements come hot off the heels of the January 14th, 2026 edition of CMLL Informa, where both talents announced their dual contracts with both companies.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
