Nic Nemeth is staying in TNA.
Over the past week, TNA Wrestling has confirmed a number of talent re-signings, including Mustafa Ali, Jody Threat, and Home Town Man. On Thursday morning, former TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth was added to that list as well.
In an video posted to X, Nic can be seen signing a new TNA contract alongside his brother Ryan Nemeth, TNA President Carlos Silva, and TNA’s Head of Talent Relations Tommy Dreamer .
“This is awesome,” Nic said. “Last two years with TNA wrestling have been fantastic and a dream come true. We got Ryan here with me. This is great. I’m looking forward to TNA Wrestling on AMC. It’s going to be a big year for us. Great work from you. Tommy, thank you too. Ryan had my back the whole way and now it’s just time to sign this and let you know that you’re probably getting a nice deal on me because I’m about to become TNA World Champion one more time tonight. So now I’m gonna make it official. Joining TNA Wrestling, and now, I’m about to become World Champion one more time. I’m looking forward to this.”
As Nic alluded to, he could potentially walk out of the promotion’s AMC debut as a two-time TNA World Champion, thanks to the guaranteed title shot attached to his Call Your Shot Gauntlet win. On tonight’s milestone Thursday Night iMPACT episode, reigning TNA World Champion Frankie Kazarian will defend the title against Mike Santana, with Nic presumably waiting in the wings.
Nemeth joined TNA in early 2024. Since then, he’s enjoyed one reign as TNA World Champion and one as World Tag Team Champion alongside his brother. The length of his latest TNA deal is unknown.
