CM Punk To Headline WWE 2K26 Showcase Mode — Report

It looks like CM Punk has a big role in WWE 2K26.

According to a new report from Insider Gaming‘s Mike Straw, WWE World Champion CM Punk will be the featured wrestler in WWE 2K26’s Showcase Mode. Punk appeared in the first Showcase Mode in WWE 2K15, and he will once again participate in this year’s version.

Showcase Mode allows players to recreate key moments from various wrestlers’ careers, which has included “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, John Cena, Becky Lynch, and others. Straw notes that Punk will narrate this year’s Showcase and it features three sections of matches.

The first section will see WWE fans relive “some of Punk’s favorite matches throughout his WWE career.” Another section lets gamers take CM Punk through several “What If?” scenarios and play through moments that could’ve happened if he hadn’t left WWE in 2014. Finally, the fantasy section will allow players to have CM Punk face off with opponents that he was never able to face. The third section sounds like it’s geared towards a Legends slant, although that is based on speculation and not a reported detail.

In addition to the Showcase Mode details, Straw is also reporting that WWE 2K26 is scheduled to release in March.

WWE 2K26 is rumored to have some Attitude

Logan Paul seemingly dropped a major hint about a feature in WWE 2K26. Paul shared a video that featured the “real” fight footage between himself and Bradley Martyn, which was actually a staged fight. During the video, Paul was sitting in front of a WWE 2K26 banner, and the logo featured WWE’s iconic “scratch” logo.

Paul’s video led to heavy speculation that WWE 2K26 will include some kind of game mode featuring those respective Attitude and Ruthless Aggression eras. Despite Logan Paul’s “hint,” there are no confirmed details about what will be included in the WWE 2K26 video game.
