A participant suffered a serious injury at the ongoing WWE tryouts.
Around 20 people are participating in the ongoing WWE tryouts at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, this week. Sallie Grace, a social media sports influencer, who was one of the participants, took to Instagram to reveal that she suffered a concussion.
“Quick little update. Yesterday we were doing improv, and they told us to pretend swimming. I got hit in the head because someone was on the metal ropes and swung it, and hit the back of my head really hard. This morning, I had a headache when I walked into the Performance Center, and I knew something wasn’t right.
“We started taking bumps for the first time, and I just felt my brain sloshing around, and I’m like, ‘I can’t continue this or else there will be long-term effects. Then I got tested, and I have a concussion, and one medic said, ‘Alright, go talk to the first medic that you talked to.’ I’m like, ‘First medic? I only talked to you.’ and I completely forgot I had a conversation with that dude,” the WWE tryout participant said.
Sallie Grace said she wasn’t the only one who got concussed during the WWE tryouts
Explaining further, Sallie Grace noted that at least one other person suffered a concussion during the ongoing WWE tryouts.
“I was packing up my bags to leave, and I was sitting there for ten minutes with my mind blank because I didn’t remember what I brought to the gym. Then I got in the elevator to the hotel, and I pressed the first floor, thinking I was gonna go up, and I wasn’t going up. So, my brain is so out of it right now. This is day three of five, and a couple of people have got concussed, and one of those people were me. I’m pretty bummed right now, and I’ll keep you guys updated. I hope that made sense, I am so out of it, but that’s the update,” the WWE tryout participant explained.
